PUBLIC 4 HOUR TRADITIONAL

A relaxed, county-wide “mini-big day”. We will bird in a small selection of key habitats and search for seasonal targets, we expect the group to retrieve at least 100 species. The exact itinerary TBD will be include some driving to 2-3 locations.

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, mixed trails, some hills, some shade, poison oak habitat

Meet Location: Ed R. Levin County Park (Sandy Wool Entrance)

Directions: From I-680 in Milpitas, exit E Calaveras Blvd and go east for 2 miles. Turn left onto Downing Rd and continue for 1.1 miles going past Sandy Wool Lake to the opposite side. The large parking lot will be on your right next to the dog park. Latitude/Longitude: 37.456984, -121.863857
