Environmental Action Committee

The Environmental Action Committee (EAC) determines conservation priorities and directs grassroots conservation advocacy and activities for SCVAS in Santa Clara County and beyond. Committee members focus on new issues as they arise and provide support to the many communities of Santa Clara County in protecting our natural environment, watersheds, birds and wildlife. The EAC works closely with the SCVAS staff and recommends conservation policy to the Board of Directors. Committee members can work on one issue important to them, or many issues. It is up to the individual.

EAC meetings are held at our headquarters in McClellan Ranch Preserve, Cupertino. Please contact the SCVAS Environmental Advocate at advocate@scvas.org for the meeting schedule.
